Product launch entertainment in Singapore has one job: make the moment of the reveal impossible to miss, for the guests in the room and for the cameras. Roadshow and activation entertainment has a different job: give people walking past a reason to stop. We plan both around your product and your audience, book the acts and the hosts, and time them to your run sheet.
Price: the entertainment for a product launch or brand activation usually costs SGD 5,000 to 15,000 or more, depending on scale and production. Venue, catering, stage and AV are budgeted separately. See event entertainment prices in Singapore.
The reveal
The press and photographers decide what your launch looks like afterwards. Put something visual and photographable in the first 15 minutes, and keep it under 10 minutes so they get a clean shot and the speeches start on time.
- LED dancers. Light up costumes in a dark room give a striking frame around the product, and the colours can follow your brand.
- A short acrobatic reveal. One strong image, timed to the moment the cover comes off.
- A mentalist. A trick tied to the product, ending on its name or its key feature.
- Live music. A band or a DJ holds the room before and after the reveal and lifts the energy for the networking that follows.
Brief the people on stage
Most launch problems are about sequencing, not the product. Brief the emcee at least a week ahead with the actual run sheet, not a summary, so the host can handle questions and timing slips. Rehearse with the real presenter, because slides that work on a laptop do not always sync with the venue's screens and clicker. Give one person on the day the authority to call each cue. We agree the cues with your team and the venue and keep the acts on them.
Roadshows and brand activations
A roadshow takes a brand to the public at locations across Singapore, and a retail activation brings people into a store or a mall space. The entertainment has to work for a moving crowd: live elements, professional hosts who pull people in and keep them talking, interactive activities and short performances on a loop. A host who can run a game or a giveaway between performances keeps the space busy when the main act rests.
For mall and outdoor spaces we check the floor space, the ceiling height, the power and the noise rules first, because they decide which acts fit. A large act that looks impressive on video can look cramped on a small stage.
Lead time
Most launches need four to twelve weeks of planning, driven mainly by the venue and any custom stage build rather than the entertainment. For the entertainment itself, book four to eight weeks ahead for a normal date and earlier for the last weeks of the year. If your launch falls near Chinese New Year, a lion dance can open it, and troupes are booked solid in that period.
Send the date, the venue, the guest count and what you are launching through the quote form. For staff and client events, see corporate event entertainment.
